Hiring: Staff Software Engineer | Backend / Platform I’m working with a fast-growing Series B AI company that’s looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join its Platform team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has spent most of their career in high-growth Series A–C startups, enjoys high ownership, and has experience building products and backend systems from 0 → 1 and then scaling them. They’re especially interested in engineers with: 7–8+ years of hands-on backend engineering experienceStrong Node.js + TypeScript experienceExperience building APIs and complex third-party integrationsAsync / event-driven systems0→1 product development and scaling experienceStartup environments where you’ve had broad technical ownershipStrong communication and experience working directly with clients or non-technical stakeholders Founder or Founding Engineer experience is a big plus. 🌎 Fully remote — open to candidates in the US, Canada, and Western Europe, with preference for strong overlap with ET hours. 💰 Compensation: $200k -$250k CAD + equity The company recently raised a $30M Series B, is growing 3x YoY, and is still small enough that this person will have meaningful influence over technical architecture and the direction of the platform.
