Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.5+ years of enterprise software development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Calypso development within Capital Markets environments.Strong experience customizing and extending the Calypso platform, including workflows, APIs, trade lifecycle processing, back-office operations, and enterprise integrations.Advanced proficiency with: Java, Spring Framework / Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, JBoss or comparable enterprise application servers, Messaging technologies (JMS, MQ)Strong understanding of Capital Markets products and trade processing, including: Foreign Exchange (FX), FX Options, Interest Rate Products, Commodities, Credit Derivatives, Exchange-Traded Derivatives, Market Risk, Credit RiskExtensive experience with SQL, relational databases, data modeling, ETL development, and enterprise data integration.Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS (preferred) or Azure, including CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, Terraform, or similar technologies.Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise applications using modern software engineering and cloud architecture best practices.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills with experience supporting business-critical production systems.Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.Experience integrating with financial messaging standards and payment networks including SWIFT, Fed Wire, and ACH.Experience with Wall Street Systems, Nasdaq Spectrum, or other enterprise Capital Markets platforms is considered a strong plus.
