SAP Backend/API Developer

Job Title: SAP Backend/API Developer About the Role We are seeking an experienced Backend/API Developer with a strong focus on SAP S/4 HANA Rise with SAP PCA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing robust backend systems and APIs that integrate seamlessly with SAP solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP technologies and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs that support SAP S/4 HANA Rise with SAP PCA.Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Implement best practices for API development, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and APIs.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development and SAP solutions.Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations.Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.10 - 15 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on SAP technologies.Proven experience in developing and integrating APIs within SAP environments.Strong portfolio of previous projects demonstrating backend development expertise. Required Skills Strong expertise in SAP S/4 HANA Rise with SAP PCA.Proficient in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.Experience with RESTful API design and development.Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferred Skills Experience with microservices architecture.Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Understanding of security best practices in API development.Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
