Job Description: In order to support Airbus Defence and Space we are looking for a M&P Surface Technology Engineer (d/f/m) This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks. Your tasks and responsibilities Support to acquisition and execution of technology, development and qualification projects in the area of surface technologies, functional coatings and corrosion protectionPreparation of material and process specifications as well as process and test instructionsSupport to obsolescence management and change requestsSupport to environmental compliance (REACH regulation) programsConsultancy to design, stress, quality and manufacturing for materials and process related enquiriesCollaboration with external institutesSteering and collaboration with material suppliersProvide expertise support for engineering, manufacturing and in-service issues on Surface technologies.Development and harmonization of technologies for external livery applications (paints, materials, processes), pre-treatment and cleaning technologies for surface preparation. Desired Skills And Qualifications Master degree or PhD in material science, chemistry or aerospace engineeringExperience in surface and coatings technologies as well as corrosion protection mandatoryExperience in aerospace industry and its related processes such as qualification, certification and standardisation preferredGerman and English Negotiation level mandatoryAbility to work in a transnational teamIndependent and proactive working style Not a 100% match?
