SUMMARY: Tucker-Reeves Associates is seeking a Power Platform Developer to help support a Federal Program within the US Department of Veterans Affairs. We are partnered with Peraton on this position. This position will be on-site in South San Antonio at 3130 General Hudnell Dr., San Antonio, 78226 RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in developing solutions using MS Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.Support the development of MS SharePoint knowledge bases, site pages, and content updates.Help maintain permissions and security for SharePoint content.Contribute to building and refining interactive reports and dashboards.Provide user support and help train staff in using knowledge management systems.Work with developers to gather business requirements and translate them into technical tasks.Working-level experience with MS Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.Power Apps Build simple canvas apps using templates and basic controls.Perform straightforward data connections (SharePoint lists, Excel, simple Dataverse tables).Write simple formulas: basic If(), Patch(), filters, navigation.Customize forms and views within model-driven apps (with guidance).Power Automate Create simple flows using prebuilt connectors (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).Use actions like “Create item,” “Update item,” “Send email,” etc.Handle basic conditions and loops.Understand the difference between automated, instant, and scheduled flows.Power BI Build basic reports using existing datasets.Implement simple visuals, slicers, filters.Do light data shaping in Power Query (remove columns, merge, append).Write very basic DAX or rely on built-in measures.Basic understanding of KPIs, data visualization, and dashboard design.Foundational SQL knowledge and comfort working with datasets. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.6+ years of experience Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.Must be U.S. CitizenDepartment of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust) or the ability to obtain oneMust have current Security+ CertificationCompTIA certification and enrolled in the CompTIA Continuing Education (CE) ProgramAbility to work in a 24/7/365 environment including holidaysFamiliar with ITILCompTIA A+ certification or equivalent preferred
