Role Description As a Platform Engineer at Aspia, you will work at the interface between platform operations, DevOps practices, and development teams. The role combines platform engineering, operational support, automation, and developer enablement. You will help create and improve the standardized capabilities, tools, guardrails, and ways of working that enable development teams to deploy, integrate, and operate solutions in a secure, scalable, and efficient way. A significant part of the role is to support development teams both when adopting platform services and when resolving production-related issues. In practice, this means providing hands-on guidance, troubleshooting support, and practical recommendations for deployment pipelines, integrations, access patterns, operational readiness, and platform-related incidents. You will also take operational responsibility for GitHub Enterprise, including administration, maintenance, access management, governance support, and continuous improvement of the developer experience. You will work as part of the skilled Group IT Cloud and Operations team and collaborate closely with development teams, architects, security specialists, and other stakeholders across the organization. The team consists of professionals based in Sweden and Finland. You will report to the infrastructure team Manager. This is a permanent position. Key Responsibilities Support development teams in adopting platform services, DevOps practices, deployment patterns, and operational ways of workingProvide hands-on troubleshooting and guidance for production-related issues where platform services, integrations, CI/CD pipelines, access, or cloud foundations are involvedDevelop, maintain, and improve reusable platform capabilities, standards, and automation that make solution delivery more secure, consistent, and efficientTake operational responsibility for GitHub Enterprise, including administration, maintenance, access management, repository governance support, and continuous improvementCollaborate with development teams, architects, security teams, and operations stakeholders to align platform solutions with business, security, and governance requirementsContribute to documentation, onboarding material, support models, and practical guidance that help teams use platform capabilities effectivelyPromote DevOps principles, standardization, automation, and operational excellence across the platform and developer community What We Expect From You Solid experience in a platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or similar technical roleGood understanding of modern software delivery, CI/CD practices, operational support models, and developer enablementHands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise or similar source control and DevOps platforms, including administration or operational supportExperience supporting development teams in solution onboarding, troubleshooting, incident analysis, and production-related technical issuesGood understanding of Microsoft Azure, cloud platform services, security principles, access management, and automationAbility to work in a structured, service-minded, and proactive way while collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience with infrastructure as code, scripting, or automation is an advantageGood written and spoken English; Finnish or Swedish is an advantageRelevant education or equivalent practical experience We want you to thrive At Aspia, you will join a collaborative environment where curiosity, trust, and continuous improvement are central.
