Description
We are seeking a highly technical Staff Software Engineer – Server Infrastructure & Automation to help modernize and automate enterprise infrastructure across large-scale data center environments.
This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, systems engineering, infrastructure automation, and platform engineering.
The ideal candidate is a software-minded infrastructure engineer who understands how systems work under the hood and can build software and automation that manages physical and virtual infrastructure at scale.
This is not a traditional cloud engineer, DevOps engineer, or application software developer role.
The focus is on building infrastructure software, automation, orchestration, and platform capabilities that improve the reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of enterprise infrastructure.
The team is undergoing a significant transformation toward a hybrid cloud infrastructure model, modernizing legacy systems while introducing more cloud-native capabilities.
This role will help identify gaps in existing infrastructure, automate manual processes, and engineer new solutions for infrastructure lifecycle management.
