Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Software Engineer with strong expertise in Apache Airflow and Databricks to join our data engineering team.
In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, support machine learning workflows, and help migrate existing systems to modern cloud-based platforms.
This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.
Responsibilities
Develop new data pipelines and maintain existing onesMigrate existing data pipelines from BDP to DatabricksMaintain ML ETL pipelines and apply necessary changes to ML codeMonitor daily pipelines and resolve issues as they ariseSupport ML model development, training, and deploymentPerform data integration and transformation through ETL processesContribute to database design, optimization, and data quality assuranceDocument processes and workflows in clear and unambiguous languageCollaborate with the team using BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, and Teams
Requirements
3+ years of experience in data engineering with advanced Proficiency in Python, Spark, and PySparkHands-on experience with Databricks and AWSBackground in ML model development, training, and deploymentSkills in data pipeline development, maintenance, and ETL processesUnderstanding of database design, optimization, and data quality assuranceFluent in English with strong documentation skillsResult-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving
