For one of our clients, Sanoma, Akkodis is looking for an experienced Senior Solution / Software Architect to join an international technology environment.
This is a hands-on architecture role focused on software, applications, ERP and integration architecture rather than pure cloud infrastructure.
You will help shape and harmonise the organisation's product and technology landscape while working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, RTEs, development teams and fellow architects.
Location: Den Bosch / Fully Remote

What will you do?
As a Senior Solution / Software Architect, you will translate business and technology requirements into scalable solution architectures and provide architectural guidance to development teams and stakeholders.
Your responsibilities include:
Defining solution architectures in line with roadmaps, architecture principles and guidelinesGuiding development teams on architecture and technical design decisionsAligning designs and solutions across different stakeholders, teams and initiativesAssessing existing applications, platforms and components from both a technical and functional perspectiveCreating architecture documentation for new and existing solutionsDriving initiatives to centralise, modernise, upgrade or replace applications and platformsContributing to architecture principles, policies and development guidelinesSupporting lifecycle decisions and business cases for front-office solutionsCollaborating with international architecture and development teamsSupporting integration architecture involving APIs, microservices and modular applications
What are we looking for?
5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, preferably within a front-office or back-office application environment3+ years of experience with ERP architecture, such as SAP or OracleExperience with Master Data Management (MDM) and/or Product Information Management (PIM)Strong knowledge of C4 Model, TOGAF and/or ArchiMateSolid understanding of software architecture and common design patternsStrong experience with application and system integrationsKnowledge of REST APIs, API integration patterns and microservicesExperience working in Agile/SAFe environmentsFamiliarity with AWSExperience with Jira, Confluence and MiroStrong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholdersExperience working in international environmentsBachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Management or a related field
