We're seeking someone who combines strong technical engineering expertise with practical construction experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate and deliver construction works to achieve project milestones and contractual requirementsDevelop work plans, methodologies, risk assessments and site documentation to support safe project deliveryManage and mentor Site Engineers, Graduate Engineers and other project team membersCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, labour, plant and materials to ensure successful project outcomesMonitor project productivity, identify improvement opportunities and drive performance against targetsManage procurement packages and support the delivery of best-value outcomesReview project progress, costs and forecasts while contributing to profitable project deliveryManage quality requirements including inspections, testing, ITPs, lot closure and non-conformance managementDevelop short and medium-term programs and implement corrective actions where requiredBuild strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders About You You are a driven and experienced Senior Project Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and working as part of a high-performing team. You Will Bring Significant experience delivering complex civil infrastructure projectsStrong planning, programming and construction methodology expertiseExperience managing project risks and developing practical engineering solutionsWorking knowledge of Quality procedures, WHS, Environmental and HR/ IR proceduresAbility to produce Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and ITP’s for all tradesDemonstrated ability to prepare contractual claims and variationsDetailed knowledge of head and subcontract agreementsAbility to develop, implement and manage budgets and forecastsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsA collaborative and proactive approach to problem solvingExcellent written and verbal communications skillsCurrent C-Class Driver’s Licence Why Seymour Whyte?
