DevOps Engineer

Mission: We are looking for an IT Operations / Cloud Infrastructure professional to work within an Agile and DevOps environment, acting as a key point of reference for Production throughout the project lifecycle. The role is responsible for ensuring that production, infrastructure, security, monitoring and operational requirements are considered from the solution design phase through to deployment and ongoing operations. The successful candidate will work closely with Development, Infrastructure, Security and Application Production Support teams to ensure solutions are stable, secure, scalable, monitored and production-ready. Responsibilities: IT Operations & Cloud Infrastructure Act as an IT Operations reference throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring production and infrastructure requirements are considered from the design phase.Participate in the definition of technical solutions, ensuring alignment with production, infrastructure, security, architecture and scalability requirements.Integrate infrastructure and operational requirements into the Product Backlog, including technical user stories related to industrialisation, automation and obsolescence management.Ensure the provision of production and infrastructure resources, facilitating solution deployment.Assess and recommend technologies and services according to application and business requirements.Promote the use of existing products and services that already integrate security, resilience, monitoring and operational requirements.Production & Technical Environment Management Ensure the stability and operational readiness of Production and Non-Production environments.Facilitate and support solution deployments across technical environments.Validate aspects such as backup/restore, access, performance, connectivity and availability.Identify operational blockers related to network, security, infrastructure and application flows, proposing appropriate action plans.Ensure proper traceability and management of access to infrastructure components.Monitoring, Supervision & Operational Excellence Define and implement monitoring and supervision mechanisms for production solutions.Work closely with Application Production Support teams to ensure effective service monitoring and supervision.Contribute to the definition of Service Levels and Production KPIs.Ensure installation, operating and support documentation is available, up to date and validated.Ensure that appropriate backup, switchover and disaster recovery plans exist and are regularly tested.Provide technical support during release-related issues, incidents or operational blockers.DevOps & Continuous Improvement Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT Operations and Production processes, with a focus on automation, performance, industrialisation and operational efficiency.Promote DevOps and application production best practices across project teams.Support and upskill team members in the tools and processes used within the Agile & DevOps framework.Identify and share best practices across the team and wider organisation.Work closely with Application Production Support to identify and implement continuous improvements.Security, Risk & Compliance Ensure Cybersecurity, IT Risk and Architecture requirements are considered throughout the solution lifecycle.Participate in and/or validate security reviews of technical solutions.Anticipate potential compliance issues related to architecture, security and operational standards.Ensure solutions comply with corporate requirements regarding security, resilience and access control. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT Infrastructure and/or IT Operations.Experience with Production Operations and management of production environments.Experience with Cloud / Cloud Infrastructure.Good understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.Knowledge of IT Risk and Cybersecurity.Experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as: ElasticSearch, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace.Good understanding of the DevOps toolchain, including: GitLab, Artifactory, Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible.Knowledge of container technologies, particularly: Docker, KubernetesNice to Have 3+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure / IT Operations.Experience working in large-scale and/or business-critical environments.Experience in Cloud Infrastructure Administration.Experience with automation and operational process improvement.Experience with monitoring, observability and performance management.Previous experience in Agile / DevOps environments.Knowledge of IT Service Management and Application Production Support.Professional & Soft Skills Strong coordination and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and effectively delegate tasks when required.Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong ability to prioritise and organise workload.Good communication and summarisation skills.Ability to explain technical concepts and promote best practices across teams.Strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicts effectively.Adaptability to changing business and technology environments.Strong learning mindset and willingness to adopt new technologies and methodologies.High level of ownership, commitment and attention to detail.Languages English — MandatoryFrench — Nice to have Are you looking for an environment that values curiosity and commitment?
