The successful candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle, from design and construction through commissioning and operational handover, helping deliver critical infrastructure that powers the next generation of cloud and AI computing. ⚡ Key Responsibilities • Lead delivery of hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects from concept through operations • Drive coordination across engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, and executive stakeholders • Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, procurement, and contractor performance • Review electrical, mechanical, and critical infrastructure designs • Support campus-scale developments and future AI deployments • Act as the bridge between design, construction, commissioning, and operations teams • Provide executive reporting and strategic project oversight ⚡ Requirements • 5+ years of experience delivering data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical infrastructure projects • Proven track record delivering large-scale facilities (50MW+ preferred) • Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge • Experience managing EPCs, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering ⚡ Highly Desired • Data center developer or operator experience • Uptime Tier III / Tier IV environments • Commissioning and operational readiness expertise • Liquid cooling infrastructure exposure • PMP, CDCP, ATD, or similar certifications • Campus-scale hyperscale developments ⚡ Why Join? • Join a globally recognised data center platform with operations across multiple continents • Hybrid Austin-based role with flexibility and strong work-life balance • Work on some of the industry's largest hyperscale and AI infrastructure projects • Gain exposure across design, construction, commissioning, and operations • High visibility with senior engineering and executive leadership • Help shape the future of AI-ready digital infrastructure 📧 Interested candidates can apply directly or contact me confidentially for further information via LinkedIn or email at olivier.truszkowski@storm4.com.
