Role : Mid Level Java Developer Skills: Java v.17, REST, JSON and SOAP, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, Elastic Stack Location: Krakow Poland (2-3 day/week Onsite) Type : B2b/UoP We are at Coforge hiring for Mid Level Java Software Engineer with Java v.17, REST, JSON and SOAP, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, Elastic Stack Job Description As a Mid Level Java Developer, you'll design and develop high-performance, high-availability services that ingest and deliver this data on a massive scale, directly enabling pricing, air shopping, ticketing, and merchandising across our platform. You'll bring deep Java expertise, a passion for clean and resilient distributed systems, and technical leadership to mentor others and shape how we modernize core capabilities spanning everything from modern offer orchestration to mission-critical systems like PSS and TPF. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops, codes, tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing products,Help design and code applications using routine and/or advanced technology,Propose ideas to improve application performance and stability,Encourage high coding standards, using best practices and high quality,Attend status meetings and provide oral and written reports regarding work progress,May take part in researching best practices, new tools and technology. QUALIFICATIONS: Hands on experience with Java v.17+ software developmentKnowledge of REST, JSON and SOAPExperience with tools like Git, Maven, Elastic StackFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub ActionsBasic knowledge of Linux and shell scriptingFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform)Knowledge of cloud-based tech/languages, technology stacks (preferred GCP)Good analytical skillsTeam working skills, team playerFamiliarity with monitoring and alerting toolsOpenness to learning and improving development processes as well as quality practices (e.g. smoke tests, acceptance tests, integration tests)Good written and verbal English communication skillsAbility to influence across product/engineering; excellent written design documentation.Nice to have: Experience with static analysis and application security tools (e.g. SonarQube, Veracode)
