Assistant Manager Demand Planning

Job DescriptionWe’re looking for an Assistant Manager Demand Planning to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq! This role requires you to organise the forecasting demand of supplies to stores, create POs for replenishment and maintaining availability in the stores, with a team of demand planners to manage Back Office data. Organize the transition to 3PL, manage relations, and secure Talabat with Egypt best practices.Be accountable for the overall demand planning/replenishment of Tmart stores and warehouses in Egypt and the performance of the direct reportsManage stock amounting to AED 20M while ensuring the issuance of ~ 8,000 POs weekly for stores and DCEnsuring timely and accurate analysis and reporting of inventory and purchase forecastsProvides DP/ replenishment insights and plans/ initiatives to keep availability at par with the management's business plan, accountable for the holding stock value, supplier service level. Aging stock optimizationBe able to provide solutions and initiatives to solve problems with stocks in the warehouse and storesGuidance to store supervisors and admins to ensure smooth workflowGuide the commercial and operations pro-actively to ensure supplies and suppliers are not affected.
