We are supporting our international partner in finding a Senior DevSecOps Engineer who will join their team and work on a large-scale AI project for a European insurance company. About the Project We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join an international team working on a large-scale AI transformation project for a leading insurance company in the Netherlands. The project focuses on building secure, scalable, and highly available AI solutions for a large enterprise environment with high standards for security, reliability, and compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, security, Infrastructure as Code, container platforms, and observability for AI solutions. This is a hands-on position where you will work closely with cloud, platform, security, and engineering teams to ensure AI workloads are delivered securely, reliably, and at scale. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain secure and automated CI/CD pipelines for AI applications.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.Integrate security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance controls directly into CI/CD pipelines.Manage and secure AWS and Azure cloud environments, including infrastructure, networking, permissions, and security controls.Work with containerized workloads and Kubernetes clusters, including EKS and/or AKS.Configure and maintain cloud access controls, permissions, and security boundaries.Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and centralized logging to ensure platform stability and high availability.Collaborate with enterprise security teams on security assessments and penetration testing.Ensure infrastructure follows enterprise security and compliance requirements.Continuously improve the reliability, security, and automation of the platform. Technical Requirements Cloud & Infrastructure Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.Deep understanding of cloud security controls, networking, IAM/RBAC, and permissions.Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and/or CloudFormation.DevSecOps & CI/CD Experience designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.Practical experience integrating security into development and delivery workflows.Understanding of automated security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance guardrails.Containers & Kubernetes Strong experience with Docker and containerized workloads.Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.Experience with AWS EKS and/or Azure AKS.Observability Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring, alerting, and logging.Understanding of approaches and practices required to maintain highly available production environments. Ideal Candidate We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer who: Has 5+ years of commercial DevOps/DevSecOps experience.Has strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.Can independently design and implement secure cloud infrastructure.Has a strong security mindset and understands how to integrate security into the software delivery lifecycle.Is confident working with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.Has experience working in enterprise and/or regulated environments.Is fluent in English and comfortable collaborating with international engineering and security teams.Is ready to take ownership of technical solutions rather than simply execute predefined tasks. Experience with AI/ML platforms or AI infrastructure will be a strong advantage, but previous experience specifically in AI is not mandatory.
