Full Stack Engineer

Job Description We have an outstanding opportunity for a Full Stack Software Engineer to work in a delivery team within Fidelity Ireland’s Asset Management Technology group. Our team is responsible for designing, developing & implementing products for the Equity Technology Research division which focus on, and are critical to, the workflows that interface between the Fidelity’s corporate investment research analysts and key corporate financial disclosure events held by third‑party companies within Fidelity’s investment universe. This interaction is at the very heart of Fidelity’s investment research value proposition. The Expertise we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technology field.3+ years in Full Stack Engineering with demonstrated experience in:Backend: Java, Spring Boot, microservices, API development (REST)Frontend: Angular, JavaScript/TypeScriptTesting Frameworks, Quality Engineering & Secure Development PracticesExperience or exposure to production support and incident resolution.2+ years’ experience or familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies, such as EC2, S3, Lambdas, or CloudWatch.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.Familiarity with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.Familiarity with Generative AI coding practices The Skills You Bring Strong communication and collaboration skills.Solid understanding of software development principles and coding practices.Ability to contribute to technical discussions and learn from senior team members.Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage priorities effectively.Passion for learning new technologies and improving engineering skills.Willingness to participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities.Interest in working across the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, and deployment.Willingness to leverage GenAI coding practices where needed How Your Work Impacts The Organization The position aligns to the Equity Technology division of Asset Management Technology (AMT), which provides technology and support for the Equity Asset Class.
