DevOps Engineer - AWS

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong AWS expertise to join our team and support the development, automation, deployment, and operation of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on AWS knowledge with solid experience in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, monitoring, and cloud security. You will work closely with development, architecture, and operations teams to build reliable, scalable, and highly automated environments. ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or CloudFormation.Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, and deployment.Manage and support AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Route 53, and CloudFront.Implement and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment processes and operational efficiency.Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions across cloud environments.Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application-related issues.Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, secrets management, and network security.Automate repetitive operational tasks through scripting and infrastructure automation.Support high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.Optimize AWS infrastructure and cloud costs.Maintain technical documentation covering infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.Contribute to DevOps standards, best practices, and automation strategies.Requirements4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.Solid experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Good knowledge of AWS networking, including VPC, subnets, security groups, routing, NAT, and load balancing.Strong understanding of IAM, security, encryption, and secrets management in AWS.Experience with Git and Git-based development workflows.Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language, such as Python, Bash, or Go.Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.Understanding of cloud-native architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Nice to HaveAWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or other AWS certifications.Experience with AWS EKS, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, and serverless architectures.Experience implementing GitOps practices using tools such as Argo CD or Flux.Knowledge of Helm and Kubernetes operators.Experience with Ansible, Packer, or Crossplane.Knowledge of AWS security services such as KMS, Secrets Manager, GuardDuty, WAF, and Security Hub.Experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and multi-account environments.Knowledge of observability and distributed tracing.Experience implementing disaster recovery and high-availability strategies.Previous experience working in large-scale enterprise or international environments.
