Description

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a DevOps Engineer / Associate Software Engineer. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support internal applications and tools used by the firm. Daily tasks include managing and automating server environments, configuring Linux-based systems, and implementing Infrastructure as Code for reproducible and reliable environments. The engineer will contribute to software development efforts, integrate applications with continuous integration workflows, and monitor system performance and reliability. Collaboration with legal and operations teams to understand requirements, improve internal tools, and ensure secure, stable systems is an important aspect of the position. Qualifications Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and system automation tools.Proficiency in Software Development, with experience in at least one modern programming language.Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines and related tooling.Solid System Administration skills, particularly in configuring and maintaining Linux environments.Understanding of security best practices for infrastructure and applications.Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide clear, structured solutions.Good communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.Relevant degree or certification in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.Experience working with professional services or legal industry environments is a plus.
