Project 1: DevOps Engineer Project overview We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Randstad Digital Romanian Team in a new challenging project in the automotive field. As a Software DevOps Engineer, you will support the client's software designers with the most efficient and secured build/deploy/test/release technologies. Responsibilities Conduct analysis to solve complex problems.Application support, administrate, configure, implement user requests, solve user reported incidents, debug functionalities issues users encounter for our managed apps.Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of large-scale applications used by 10K+users, that could be deployed in cloud-based or on-prem infrastructure.Automate the setup, scaling and management of applications using Configuration as Code (CaC).Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable quick and reliable code deployment across various environments.Optimize system performance by conducting system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.Ensuring security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle, including compliance with data protection regulations.Document technical procedures, configurations, and the architecture of deployed solutions. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in highly technical positions such DevOps, SysOps, CloudOps, reliability engineer or similar.Hands-on experience in the administration of applications/solutions used in the Software Engineering space such Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Terraform etc.Experience in writing scripts for automation and Configuration as Code Scripting – Python, Perl, Bash.Expertise on Source Code Management like Git and Subversion.Demonstrable experience deploying and managing container-based applications (with Kubernetes, Docker).Good understanding of virtualization technologies and networking.Fluency in English written and spoken. Project 2: DevOps Engineer Position overview We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Randstad Digital Romania team in Bucharest for a specialized project. Our partner is a major player in railway infrastructure, developing advanced signaling, traffic management, and digital train control systems. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining global software delivery by managing Kubernetes infrastructure and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities Deploy, configure, maintain, and upgrade applications and services across multiple Kubernetes clusters and namespaces.Integrate software components and services delivered by multiple engineering teams into stable and operational environments.Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and repeatable deployments.Perform end-to-end deployment, configuration, and validation of releases across development, integration, test, and production-like environments.Monitor platform health, availability, and performance using observability and logging solutions.Perform rapid root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of application, infrastructure, deployment, and networking issues.Work closely with developers, testers, architects, product owners, and project managers to resolve technical challenges and delivery blockers.Contribute to planning activities by providing effort estimations, technical assessments, and deployment strategies.Automate operational tasks, deployment activities, and environment management processes.Implement and maintain security best practices across platforms, infrastructure, and deployment processes.Support release management activities and ensure platform readiness for testing, demonstrations, customer deliveries, and operational activities.Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies including AI-enabled engineering and infrastructure capabilities.Drive continuous improvement of deployment, integration, and operational processes. Requirements At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and environment securing.Strong Kubernetes administration across multi-cluster and multi-namespace environments using Helm.Containerization experience using Docker and container-native principles.Advanced CI/CD pipeline development using GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.Automation scripting with Python and Bash alongside Git-based workflows.Deployment and configuration management using Ansible.Hands-on monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch.Microservices and distributed systems integration using logs, metrics, and traces for debugging.Network security fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, certificates, ingress, and load balancers.Strong English communication skills to collaborate with global stakeholders and drive issues to resolution.Collaborative, organized, and analytical mindset with a strong ownership over delivered solutions.Bachelor's degree in a Technical domain.Strong proficiency in English language (spoken and written). Nice to have: Experience in mission-critical, high-availability, safety-critical, or transportation domains.Infrastructure as Code tooling using Terraform.Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools or operating AI and LLM workloads.Experience with Java and Spring Boot applications.Strong proficiency in French (spoken and written).
