Software Engineer

We’re working with a key client that’s building technology that protects people and businesses from fraud on a global scale and we’re looking for engineers who care about quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do You’ll be part of a cross‑functional engineering team delivering features end‑to‑end. Expect to: Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code across modern languages and frameworksReview and test the work of others to uphold quality and best practiceBreak down work items into clear technical tasks and own them through to completionCollaborate on backlog refinement and contribute to planningDocument functionality and support deploymentsEstimate effort and contribute to both functional and non‑functional testingDrive issues to resolution and proactively close open questionsShare knowledge, mentor peers, and help improve engineering processes Tech You’ll Work With You’ll work across a varied and evolving stack, including: C# / .NETPHPTypeScript, React, Next.jsAzure CloudDocker & containerisationMySQL, Cosmos DB Curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies are essential. What You Bring We’re looking for someone with: Strong grounding in software design patterns and secure coding practicesSolid experience with Git and modern version‑control workflowsGood problem‑solving, debugging and testing skillsBroad understanding of Azure servicesKnowledge of microservices, containerisation and service‑layer architectureExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsFamiliarity with relational and document databasesAbility to deliver consistently in a complex environment and communicate well within distributed teams Qualifications Experience delivering software in a collaborative engineering environmentStrong communication skills across virtual teamsAzure Fundamentals certification (training and exam support provided) Note: We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role and candidates must have Right to Work in the UK.
