Why This Role Matters This role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations by delivering engineering solutions for production equipment and processes across manufacturing facilities in EMEA. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing systems across critical areas such as Mixing, Component Preparation or Curing. What You’ll Do Lead and support capital projects from specification and design through onsite installation and commissioning in EMEASupport technology projects by developing technical solutions aligned with product and process requirementsProvide manufacturing plant support by collecting and analyzing data to support operational decisionsCoordinate project activities to ensure compliance with global Goodyear standardsCollaborate with regional teams to identify, develop, and implement best practices across EMEA plantsManage project execution using structured tools, including risk identification and mitigationDevelop and maintain strong relationships with equipment suppliers and external partners Basic Qualifications What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Science/Technology/Engineering field), with 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or capital project environmentsAbility to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and work with plant/machinery layoutsExperience working with vendors and supporting equipment specification, installation, and commissioningExperience in cross-functional project delivery within manufacturing environmentsGood communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications Experience with CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical) and knowledge of machinery systems including PLCs, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumaticsUnderstanding of machine safety standards, risk assessments, and functional safety principles We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
