Description

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Architect and design Reliability, Availability, Serviceability (RAS), and manageability features for compute platforms. • Develop solutions to monitor and maintain system health, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient maintenance cycles. • Engage with industry communities to stay updated on the latest developments and align solutions with industry direction. • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including SoC, CPU, firmware, and software product management. • Provide technical leadership and oversight to hardware and software teams, ensuring compatibility with industry specifications. • Partner with internal teams, customers, OEMs, and suppliers to create software roadmaps and detailed requirement documentation. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years. • 4+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python. • Strong expertise in modern operating systems, ARM64 architectures, hypervisors, software reliability, and manageability. • Deep proficiency in Linux kernels, RAS, System Manageability, DDR, PCIe, and communication protocols like I2C, SPI, and MDIO. • Practical experience with in-lab debugging tools. • Strong technical documentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
