As a Software Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for: Designing and implementing frontend applications and supporting API services for cloud management solutionsIntegrating applications with platform services and downstream systems across Akamai's cloud ecosystemTroubleshooting complex technical challenges and driving improvements to application quality, maintainability, and performance Do What You Love To be successful in this role you will: Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalentDemonstrate strong professional experience developing backend services using PythonPossess experience building modern web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as ReactHave good knowledge of Internet protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSLHave willingness to learn new frameworks and programming languagesPossess good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders About Us At Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.
