We are now looking for a patient and friendly WordPress expert to join our small team to provide technical support over email to our customers Monday-Friday. We are specifically looking for someone who can commit 4 hours every day between 1900 - 2300 UTC to answering support tickets from our customers about our products. If you can't do these exact times, then you should be able to do something reasonably close to them. We have three WordPress products: Sydney, Botiga, and Merchant. The last two are both WooCommerce focussed. While most of your time will be spent dealing with technical questions about our products, you will also be expected to compile bug reports and record feature requests. This is an important role as you will in direct contact with our customers and so you must set high standards for yourself and your work. There is potential for this role to become full-time in the future. What You'll Do Answer support questions related to our WordPress themes and plugins (Sydney Pro, Botiga Pro. and Merchant Pro) via our email ticketing system (HelpScout)Create CSS and PHP snippets for customers who request small customisationsCommunicate bugs/improvements with our developers Requirements You know WordPress inside outYou are familiar with WooCommerce, and willing to learn moreStrong HTML, CSS and PHP and preferably some familiarity with Javascript.An understanding of browser console errors and debugging via developer toolsPatient and polite when dealing with support queriesGood written English (not necessarily native, but clear and professional) We hope to hear from some motivated candidates!
