Role DescriptionThe Back End Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and improving server-side applications, services, APIs, and database-driven systems. The role focuses on building reliable, scalable, secure, and efficient backend solutions that support web applications, mobile platforms, internal systems, and digital products. Key responsibilities include translating functional and technical requirements into backend solutions, designing application logic, developing APIs, integrating third-party services, and implementing business rules. The role will work closely with frontend developers, software engineers, product teams, database specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration between backend services and user-facing applications. The position will contribute to database design, data processing, system integrations, authentication, authorization, caching, logging, and performance optimization. Responsibilities may include developing reusable components, improving existing services, identifying technical issues, and implementing solutions that enhance application reliability and maintainability. The Back End Software Developer will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture planning, coding, testing, debugging, deployment support, monitoring, and maintenance. The role will also contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, development standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting application issues, analyzing system logs, optimizing database queries, improving API performance, implementing security controls, and supporting automated testing and deployment processes.
