Lead Software Engineer

Engineering Lead Location: Remote (UK) Up to £90k Engineering Lead – Would you like the opportunity to work for an established edtech business undergoing an exciting period of transformation across its engineering function? The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on engineering leadership experience, where you’ll spend the majority of your time coding and solving technical problems, while also providing day-to-day technical direction. As an Engineering lead, you’ll lead a small engineering squad of around 2–4 developers and will set and maintain high standards for code quality, engineering practices and technical delivery. You’ll also play a key role in contributing to the evolution of an increasingly AI-native engineering approach. Requirements: Excellent TypeScript skillsExperience working across the stack, backend leaning would be preferredStrong communication and collaboration skillsAn interest in and practical experience of AI-assisted developmentPython experience would be a huge bonus.
