Job Description As a Founding Infrastructure Engineer, you will build the high-performance runtime systems that authorize every action AI agents take. You'll design sub-millisecond latency distributed systems on GCP and Kubernetes, ensuring that autonomous tools operating in production remain secure, compliant, and deterministic. This is a foundational role shaping the core infrastructure of the AI economy. Location Remote Why this role is remarkable Join as one of the first engineers to build the "Stripe of AI authorization," sitting in the critical path of every autonomous agent action.Solve complex distributed systems challenges involving sub-millisecond policy evaluation, global scalability, and multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure on GCP.Work directly with founders Carlos Jimenez and Fernando Vintacourt to establish the technical architecture for highly regulated enterprise customers. What You Will Do Design and own production Kubernetes environments using GKE, Terraform, and GitOps to support global, high-availability deployments.Build distributed policy evaluation services capable of serving millions of decisions per day with sub-millisecond latency.Develop AI runtime integrations for platforms like Claude Code, Cursor, and Anthropic, ensuring secure tool execution and API invocation. The ideal candidate Demonstrates deep expertise in Go or Rust backend systems and has extensive experience operating Kubernetes in production environments.Possesses a strong background in distributed systems, networking fundamentals, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.Exhibits a builder mindset with experience in security infrastructure, API gateways, or low-latency systems like Envoy or OPA.
