About The Role As a Senior Cloud Engineer (w/m/d) at Zasta GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring our platforms operate smoothly, securely, and efficiently. Working closely with development and product teams, you will automate processes, optimize infrastructure, and lay the technical groundwork for reliable deployments and sustainable growth. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in building and managing modern cloud infrastructures, particularly on AWS. You should have strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux systems, and Git-based development workflows is essential. Additionally, familiarity with relational databases, monitoring, and logging of cloud applications is required. A solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and automation principles is also necessary. We value candidates with an analytical mindset, structured working style, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within interdisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly desirable. Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include developing and managing our AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our cloud environment. You will automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code and modern CI/CD practices. Monitoring system performance, logging, and troubleshooting will be vital to maintaining high availability and optimal performance. You will work closely with development and product teams to implement best practices, improve existing systems, and introduce innovative solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security standards, conducting regular system audits, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Your role also involves staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to continuously enhance our platform’s capabilities.
