Description
Help build a fast growing digital healthcare platform that brings together the complete patient journey.
Company
This fast growing digital health scaleup in Amsterdam develops several consumer brands focused on accessible and personalised healthcare.
Its platform connects patients with doctors, pharmacies and laboratories and supports the complete journey from the initial intake to medication delivery and ongoing care.
The company is expanding rapidly and is already active across several European countries.
A compact international team works alongside dozens of doctors, nurses and patient support employees.
This is an environment with short communication lines, direct access to the founders and significant individual responsibility.
There is no ticket factory where developers only work on isolated components.
Developers receive the problem, the context and the freedom to determine the right solution.
Functie omschrijving
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will share responsibility for the entire platform.
You will work on the consumer experience, internal medical tooling, commerce, logistics, communication and the wider technical infrastructure.
One of the key projects is the development of a mobile patient platform that supports people throughout their treatment.
Through the app, patients will be able to communicate with their doctor, monitor their progress and receive relevant information at the right moment.
Experience with React Native is useful, but you do not need to be a specialised mobile developer.
The company is also expanding its range of treatments and medication.
You will build customer journeys that offer the usability and conversion of strong ecommerce platforms, but within a medical environment where reliability, privacy and clear communication are especially important.
TypeScript is used across the entire stack.
The web environment runs on Next.js with the App Router and Vercel.
React Native and Expo are used for mobile development.
The backend includes Supabase, Postgres, Medusa v2 and Railway.
The wider stack includes Turborepo, Bun, Trigger.dev, Stream Chat, BigQuery and Metabase.
You will take complete ownership of functionality, from the initial product discussion through to the production release.
You will work directly with the Tech Lead, founders, operations and medical teams.
Alongside building new functionality, you will:
• Improve and restructure existing code where necessary
• Increase the stability and performance of the platform
• Help shape technical standards and development processes
• Build features across frontend, backend and data
• Contribute to product decisions and the user experience
• Prepare the platform for new countries, healthcare categories and larger numbers of patients
The team deploys multiple times per day.
This means you will see the results of your work quickly, but you will also be responsible for what you release into production.
