Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking 2 x Senior Cloud Engineers to join a high-performing team delivering modern cloud solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex cloud initiatives, helping design, build and support secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies. You will work closely with project teams, architects, and technical specialists to lead the design and delivery of cloud infrastructure, automation, networking, and platform solutions while promoting best practice cloud engineering and DevOps methodologies. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of Azure cloud solutionsDeliver Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using modern automation frameworksDesign, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOpsBuild clean, maintainable, scalable, and testable codeParticipate in architecture, design, and planning workshopsDevelop and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycleProvide technical leadership and cloud expertise to project teamsSupport the adoption of cloud operational, security, and governance best practices Essential Skills & Experience Extensive experience delivering enterprise solutions within Microsoft AzureStrong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or similar technologiesProven experience designing and implementing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelinesStrong scripting and automation capabilities using PowerShell, Python, C#, or Shell scriptingDeep understanding of Azure networking, storage, compute, and identity servicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Desirable Experience Experience with Git and source control practicesTest automation development and implementationAzure PaaS provisioning and managementCloud infrastructure provisioning through automation and IaCAzure DevOps pipeline automationAgile delivery environmentsRelevant Cloud, DevOps, or Security certificationsPrevious experience within the Australian Government sector Security Clearance NV1 preferredBaseline clearance will be considered What's on Offer Immediate start availableContract through to 30 June 2027Opportunity to work on large-scale cloud transformation initiativesCollaborative, technically focused team environmentExposure to enterprise cloud, automation, and DevOps practices If you're an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer with a passion for automation, Infrastructure as Code, and delivering modern cloud solutions at scale, we'd love to hear from you.
