Full Stack Engineer

Your new company Join a large Federal Government agency undergoing significant technology transformation. This organisation delivers critical services across Australia and is investing heavily in modern cloud-based platforms, data capabilities, regulatory systems and digital services. The team is seeking experienced Software Engineers to support a range of high-profile technology initiatives. Your new role You will work within Agile delivery teams to design, develop, test and maintain enterprise applications and cloud-native services. You'll contribute to the delivery of modern platforms, APIs, integrations and event-driven solutions while working in a secure, highly regulated environment. Responsibilities include: Designing and developing enterprise-grade software solutionsBuilding cloud-native applications and integrations within AWS environmentsDeveloping front-end solutions using ReactJS where requiredContributing to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and containerised deploymentsParticipating in Agile ceremonies and collaborative delivery activitiesSupporting testing, troubleshooting, monitoring and technical assurance activitiesProducing clear technical documentation and knowledge transfer artefacts What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will bring experience across several of the following technologies and practices: Java and enterprise application developmentAPI development, microservices and integration solutionsReactJS and modern front-end developmentAWS cloud technologiesKubernetes and containerisationCI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesApache Kafka, Scala, Spark, PostgreSQL or ElasticsearchAgile software delivery environmentsStrong testing and secure coding practicesHighly regarded experience includes: Palantir FoundryPegaForgeRockServiceNowFederal Government or other highly regulated environments You MUST be an Australian Citizen and hold a current Baseline Security Clearance, or be eligible to obtain higher clearances if required.
