Senior Software Developer AI Agents Document Processing
Role Overview
Client is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design develop and enhance backend platforms supporting AIenabled digital products The role focuses on LLMbased agents RetrievalAugmented Generation RAG document and image processing ETL pipelines APIs microservices reusable services and enterprise integrations
This position is ideal for a handson backend engineer who can work across software development data engineering AI automation and cloud technologies to deliver scalable secure maintainable and productionready solutions
Key Responsibilities
AI Agent Development
Design build and maintain backend services for AIenabled applications
Develop LLMbased agents RAG workflows toolcalling frameworks and automation pipelines
Improve prompt performance retrieval quality grounding strategies and output accuracy
Implement testing monitoring guardrails and evaluation mechanisms for AI solutions
Document Image Processing
Build document ingestion classification extraction transformation and generation pipelines
Develop imageprocessing solutions using OCR metadata extraction and content enrichment
Support processing of structured semistructured and unstructured data
Enable document lifecycle automation and workflow orchestration
Backend Engineering Integration
Develop backend applications using Python TypeScript and modern frameworks
Build APIdriven microservices connecting AI services applications and enterprise data sources
Design and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformation workflows
Develop reusable services APIs SDKs schemas and data contracts
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and cloudnative technologies
Technical Leadership
Collaborate with product application data and cloud engineering teams
Provide technical guidance through design reviews and architecture discussions
Create reusable implementation patterns templates and documentation
Support application teams in adopting AI document processing and integration capabilities
Operations Reliability
Implement monitoring logging diagnostics and observability for backend services and pipelines
Troubleshoot performance scalability reliability and integration issues
Drive continuous improvement in solution quality operational stability and developer productivity

AI agents RAG capabilities documentprocessing services ETL workflows and integrations are successfully adopted across applications
Document ingestion and transformation workflows are scalable resilient and observable
Reusable APIs services and integration patterns accelerate product delivery

Integration defects and workflow bottlenecks are significantly reduced

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
5 years of software engineering experience delivering enterprisegrade backend systems
Strong proficiency in Python andor TypeScript
Experience developing APIs microservices and distributed systems
Familiarity with AI application architectures including LLMs RAG promptdriven workflows and agentbased automation
Experience with cloud platforms enterprise integrations and Dockerbased deployments
Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills
Experience with Gitbased development and Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with document management and contentprocessing platforms
Knowledge of vector databases semantic search embeddings metadata extraction content enrichment and ETL frameworks
Experience improving AI reliability through evaluation frameworks guardrails grounding techniques structured outputs and observability
Exposure to workflow orchestration document lifecycle management and eventdriven architectures
Experience deploying and operating cloudnative microservices
Understanding of distributed systems and enterprise integration patterns
Experience supporting production applications through monitoring diagnostics and performance tuning
