Location: Montreal, QC Work Arrangement: Hybrid Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year Employment Type: Full-Time and Permanent Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with AI Tools experience to build and maintain scalable, production-grade backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong Core Java skills, experience with distributed systems, and hands-on exposure to Agentic AI technologies. Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality backend applications using Core Java.Design and build large-scale, distributed systems.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.Work with relational and document-oriented databases.Work in Linux/Unix environments and use scripting when required.Apply data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns to solve technical problems.Explore and integrate Agentic AI tools and technologies into applications.Troubleshoot issues and improve system performance and reliability.Work with Agile development teams and follow DevOps best practices.Collaborate with team members and communicate technical solutions effectively. Requirements 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.Strong expertise in Core Java.Experience building production-grade and large-scale systems.Experience with distributed systems and system design.Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.Experience with Linux/Unix and scripting.Experience with relational and/or document databases.Experience with Agentic AI development and AI tools.Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication skills.
