Role Description This full-time, on-site Cadastral Surveyor (Land Development) role is based in the Greater Brisbane Area. The Cadastral Surveyor will perform field and office surveying tasks for land development and subdivision projects, including boundary definition, topographic surveys, and preparation of survey plans. Daily responsibilities include operating survey instruments, collecting and validating spatial data, coordinating with project managers and engineers, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards. The role involves drafting and reviewing survey documentation, liaising with local authorities and other stakeholders, and contributing to project planning and design. The Cadastral Surveyor will also assist in quality assurance processes and support junior team members where required. Qualifications Strong skills in Land Surveying and Surveying for cadastral, subdivision, and development projects.Experience conducting Topographic Surveys for site assessment, design, and planning.Proficiency in using Total Station and related surveying instruments for accurate field measurements.Exposure to Building Surveying tasks in a land development or residential construction context.Relevant tertiary qualification in Surveying or Geospatial Science, or equivalent professional experience.Knowledge of cadastral regulations, land titling, and local planning requirements in Queensland.Competence with survey and CAD software, data management, and digital plan preparation.Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to data accuracy and safety standards.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site and in varying field conditions.Professional registration or eligibility for registration with relevant surveying authorities is an advantage.You must currently be in south east queensland and be a qualified cadastral surveyor registed with the institute of surveyor
