In this role, you will lead hands-on software development, direct application tier integration, and drive cross-component alignment across environments. You'll write clean, maintainable source code, construct unit test suites, architect Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and trace/remediate complex deployment blocks between platform data services and custom web apps. You will be building "enterprise capabilities" within the Department of War's authoritative data analytics platform (War Data Platform) for the Chief Digital and AI Officer (DoW CDAO). If you love solving technical challenges, guiding fellow engineers, pushing boundaries, and delivering scalable code, we’d love to connect! Key Responsibilities Translate high-level systems engineering designs into clean, durable source code, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and Configuration-as-Code across development, integration, and staging tiers while providing technical guidance to the team.Isolate, trace, and remediate deployment blocks or interface breakdowns occurring between platform data services and custom user web applications.Construct comprehensive unit test suites and embed standard API integration schemas (message queues, REST, gateways) while ensuring compliance with container security baselines. The annual base salary range for this role is $190,000-$200,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package.
