The opportunity The Team Leader Learning and Development leads and manages a small team of learning and development professionals with responsibility for designing, developing and delivering high quality, fit for purpose learning experiences which enhance individual and organisational performance. Reporting to the Branch Manager Learning and Development, you will be responsible for: Managing and leading the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of learning strategies, programs and activities that improve individual and organisational performance.Providing expert advice and high-quality consultancy services that are responsive to both stakeholder and organisational needs and which contribute to the achievement of business outcomes.Undertaking research and analysis to inform the development of a range of contemporary, innovative and fit for purpose learning solutions that meet individual and organisational needs. Who we are looking for To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated experience in leading, managing and developing a team, including the ability to plan, prioritise and influence individual and team performance to achieve business objectives.Proven ability to design, deliver, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs and initiatives that apply contemporary learning concepts and innovative thinking to support the achievement of business objectives.Demonstrated ability to provide consultancy and advice to managers and employees in relation to strategic, people-focused initiatives and to use critical thinking skills to solve problems and implement workable solutions.Well-developed influencing and negotiation skills and demonstrated expertise in building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Highly developed written and verbal communication skills that meet target audience needs, including the ability to plan, develop, and deliver clear and comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations.
