Intermediate Application Support Specialist

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Intermediate Application Support (Java/Angular/Python). This position involves supporting critical enterprise applications related to mortgage processing and pricing, ensuring smooth operations through troubleshooting, code analysis, and API support. Pay rate range (CAD): $50.00/hr – $60.00/hr Responsibilities Support two key enterprise applications: Mortgage & Pricing Application and Managed File Transfer (MFT) ApplicationTroubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly to minimize downtimeAnalyze and review code in Java, Angular, and JavaScript to identify root causes of problemsSupport and maintain REST API integrations between applications and external systemsCollaborate closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate issue resolution and enhancementsAssist in incident analysis and escalate issues as needed to ensure system stabilityParticipate in deployment and release activities, ensuring quality and complianceDocument support activities, incident reports, and resolutions accuratelyStay updated on application and infrastructure changes impacting production environments Desired Skill-Set Strong hands-on experience with Java, Angular, and Python programming languagesProven ability to analyze, review, and troubleshoot code effectivelySolid understanding of REST APIs and API-based integration supportExperience with AWS Cloud servicesPrevious experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environmentExcellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and vendorsStrong stakeholder management skills, including incident analysis and escalation procedures Nice to Have Exposure to or experience with AI or Generative AI technologiesBackground in banking or financial services industriesFamiliarity with automation tools and scripting languagesKnowledge of mortgage or financial application workflows BeachHead is an equal opportunity agency and employer.
