To tackle this challenge, we are looking for an engineer who can contribute to our products along with the company’s development strategy. We are looking for an engineer who will contribute to the development, validation and continuous improvement of Navigation Guidance functions, map data solutions and map update services for current and future MBUX Navigation Systems. The role involves collaborating with global teams and suppliers to deliver high-quality navigation experiences for Mercedes-Benz customers worldwide. Responsibilities Own and drive Navigation Guidance functions including feature definition, validation, issue analysis and quality improvement activities.Analyze customer feedback and system behavior to improve navigation guidance quality and user experience.Support the analysis and resolution of navigation related issues reported from development, testing and customer feedback activities.Support NDS-based map data integration, validation and release activities.Coordinate map update planning, validation and deployment with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Collaborate with global development teams, map providers and software suppliers to ensure high quality navigation solutions.Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables. Preferred qualifications Agile/Scrum experience.Experience in navigation software development or map release activities.Knowledge of NDS (Navigation Data Standard) and digital map technologies.Understanding of navigation guidance concepts, route calculation and user-facing navigation features.Experience collaborating with map data providers, automotive suppliers, or global teams.Understanding of embedded software development and navigation systems.Experience in a multicultural working environment.Experience in software debugging, issue analysis or system validation.
