Position Summary

More than 600 students are enrolled in our CSWE- accredited BASW and MSW programs, and our PhD program.
This position provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Continuing Education (CE) and Academic Programs teams.
Responsibilities include supporting team administrators with webinar registration and hosting, verifying certification completion for various CE and MSW certificate programs, coordinating communications and scheduling, preparing reports, assisting with travel arrangements, performing data entry, and providing logistical support for in-person training and student orientation activities.
The position provides operational support to CE and Academic Programs through telephone and email assistance, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting administrative and enrollment-related issues, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the preparation of monthly operating statements for Continuing Education.
Financial responsibilities include processing visitor travel reimbursements and preparing and processing various EBS transactions and documents, including disbursement vouchers, vendor processing, cash deposits, requisitions, purchase orders, and other related financial transactions.
This position serves as a backup to the Graduate Academic Program Coordinator, providing support with email correspondence, enrollment activities in Student Information System (SIS), working in Slate and other graduate program functions as needed.
Additionally, the position provides administrative support to the Undergraduate Director and Advisor, assisting with program-related and admission activities and student needs.
The position may also be assigned to other office responsibilities, special projects, and administrative duties as needed to support the overall operations of the department.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or desktop publishing software; presentation and webpage software; typing and filing; maintaining accounting ledgers; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Business with three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive University work experience in university systems, experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Microsoft Teams, Publisher, PowerPoint software, EBS, and Kuali; knowledge of University policies and procedures; ability to interpret information in order to coordinate projects, detail-oriented, excellent communication, grammar, writing and editing skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information and the need for discretion.
