Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Amazon Connect Developer with strong expertise in AWS Lambda to design, develop, integrate, and support cloud-based contact center solutions.
The developer will be responsible for building Amazon Connect contact flows, IVR solutions, call-routing logic, and serverless integrations using AWS Lambda and other AWS services.
The role requires strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect, Lambda, APIs, AWS services, troubleshooting, and enterprise system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and maintain Amazon Connect contact center solutions.Build and maintain contact flows, IVR, queues, routing profiles, prompts, callbacks, and error-handling flows.Develop AWS Lambda functions using Python, Node.js, or Java to support Amazon Connect workflows.Integrate Amazon Connect with Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, CloudWatch, and external applications.Implement dynamic customer routing and retrieve customer/account information through Lambda integrations.Develop REST API integrations and backend services supporting contact center workflows.Configure contact attributes and pass data between Amazon Connect contact flows and Lambda functions.Troubleshoot Lambda invocation, contact-flow, routing, API, and integration issues.Implement logging, monitoring, exception handling, retries, and performance optimization.Work with IAM roles, permissions, security policies, and AWS best practices.Support inbound and outbound calling and automated customer interaction workflows.Collaborate with architects, business teams, QA, DevOps, and other development teams.Participate in application testing, deployment, production support, and incident resolution.Document technical designs, integrations, configurations, and operational procedures.Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.Strong experience developing and integrating AWS Lambda.Experience designing complex Amazon Connect contact flows and IVR workflows.Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java.Strong knowledge of AWS serverless architecture.Experience with API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, SNS/SQS.Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, web services, and third-party integrations.Knowledge of telephony concepts including IVR, call routing, queues, ANI/DNIS, and contact attributes.Experience troubleshooting production Amazon Connect environments.Understanding of AWS security, IAM, logging, monitoring, and deployment practices.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills
Experience with Amazon Lex and conversational AI.Experience with Amazon Connect Contact Lens.Knowledge of CRM integrations such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Microsoft Dynamics.Experience with CloudFormation/Terraform and CI/CD.Experience with EventBridge, Kinesis, Step Functions, or other event-driven AWS services.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
