About the Role
In this role, you will join the core engineering team in Seoul as the company's first dedicated DevOps Engineer and take ownership of establishing and evolving its DevOps practices.
You will build, automate and scale the infrastructure supporting a globally deployed AI product, with responsibility for the release and deployment process, cloud infrastructure and production reliability.
You will work closely with the SW Engineering team, which has managed DevOps activities to date, improving existing processes and introducing scalable infrastructure solutions across a hybrid cloud and on-premises environment.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure supporting production applications.Own and improve release and deployment processes, including CI/CD and automated delivery to production.Build Infrastructure-as-Code and automation solutions, and manage Kubernetes and containerised environments.Manage and improve cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, including hybrid and on-premises environments.Improve production reliability, availability, monitoring, and observability, and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.Drive infrastructure improvements, scalability, and cloud adoption in close collaboration with Software Engineering.Establish and continuously improve DevOps practices as the company's first dedicated DevOps function.Requirements
5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, or a similar role.Strong experience with Linux-based production environments and troubleshooting.Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, including hybrid cloud environments.Strong experience with Kubernetes, containerisation, and modern deployment practices.Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes.Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools, with a strong understanding of networking and production infrastructure.Nice to Have
Experience with on-premises environments and virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Proxmox, or KVM.Experience with bare-metal provisioning and infrastructure automation.Familiarity with storage technologies such as Ceph, NFS, or SAN.Knowledge of advanced networking concepts such as VLANs, BGP, or OSPF.What the Company Offers
