Mobile Software Engineer

What you’ll need to succeed as an Engineer, Software Engineering at XPO Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent work or military experience1 year of experience in software solutions development preferably in medium to large corporate environments or commercial software companies1+ years of mobile Android application development required Proficient knowledge of at least one of the following: C#, Xamarin/Maui, React NativeExperience with the industry standard IDEs – Visual Studio & VS CodeExperience with creating and consuming distributed data services (REST APIs, Messaging Buses)Experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL server, Oracle, MySQL)Experience with data marshalling, data transformation, and data representation technologies (Model entities, JSON, HTML, XML, Stylesheets).Experience with rapid programming, agile development, software patterning, and refactoring techniquesExperience with process communication techniques (shared memory, message queues, data streams, semaphores).Experience with TeamCity, GIT and Enterprise Git HubExperience in Web Services development using HTTP, RESTExperience with asynchronous messaging frameworks for application integration. Google Firebase preferred.Experience in production support activities by monitoring and troubleshooting production issues. Preferred qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills in technical settings and with internal management. Follow industry best practices, techniques and XPO standardized processes that deliver quality software solutions.
