Workday HCM Integration Developer
Location: Remote – Canada
Employment Type: Long Term Contract
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM.Strong understanding of Workday HCM concepts, architecture, and functionality.Experience with at least one end-to-end Workday HCM implementation.Extensive hands-on experience with Integrations, EIB, Calc Fields, Security, and Data Migrations.Strong knowledge of EIB (Inbound & Outbound), Core Connector – Worker, Core Connector – Benefits, Workday Studio, Reports, Navigation, Search, and Security.Hands-on experience with XSLT, including development, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.Strong understanding of ISU, ISSG, Integration Scheduling, Monitoring, and Troubleshooting.Good understanding of PBO, RBO, Workday Objects, and their relationships, including effective use of Calc Fields.Strong skills in coding, testing, implementation, debugging, and technical documentation.Ability to understand AS-IS and TO-BE processes, analyze requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand complex operating environments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical information clearly.Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, multinational, and multi-vendor environment.Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, implement, and support Workday HCM integrations.Build and maintain integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors (Worker & Benefits), and XSLT.Work with Organizations, Navigation, Security, Custom Reports, Business Processes, and Workday Objects.Analyze requirements and identify relationships between PBO/RBO and other Workday objects, leveraging Calc Fields where required.Understand and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes based on business requirements.Prepare technical documentation, test cases, and implementation/support documentation.Support integration migration activities across environments.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues, including scheduling and production support.Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional application teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.Assist the Team Lead / Project Manager by gathering information from existing systems, analyzing program requirements, and ensuring deliverables meet defined timelines.Participate in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and post-production support activities.
