Job Description/Typical Task Breakdown
Aligned with 1 to 3 concurrent prototype project teams assisting with design, build, or test phases.Troubleshooting equipment, tracking prototype inventory, and providing logistics support.Enable prototype delivery for high-velocity and high-priority projects while working safely and efficiently.Engage with partner team engineers to develop best practices for prototype designs and manufacturing.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support partner engineering teams with rapid design, analysis, and prototype manufacturing of electrified machines and systems.Operate and maintain prototyping machinery including 3D printers, CNC cutting/milling/welding, and electrical cable/harness fabrication.
Education & Experience
Years of experience: 5+Degree requirement: prefer ME, EE, Software Controls, Industrial EngOpen to 2 year degree with 9 Years experience – as long as in applicable tech areaMaster’s must have 5 years
Required Technical Skills
CAD designMechanic and Fabrication skillsCNC machinery operations and diagnosticsMicrosoft Suite skills Creo design, Creo Simulate, DFMA/design for prototyping.
