Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join our AI Platform team.
The ideal candidate is a versatile full-stack engineer experienced in building modern web applications across the entire stack.
You will work in an AI-driven environment with a primary focus on full-stack engineering.
This role requires a collaborative individual who can contribute across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and cloud layers while working alongside data scientists and product teams.
What You’ll Do
Application & Feature Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications and platform features that are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
Accessibility: Develop and maintain software solutions complying with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.2 AA.
Integrate accessibility best practices into code, testing, and design processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
AI Integration: Explore opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into applications where they add clear value to the user experience.
Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for application security and ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and protection regulations.
CI/CD & Infrastructure: Contribute to CI/CD processes to enable smoother releases while supporting cloud infrastructure optimized for performance, cost, and security.
Engineering Excellence: Apply engineering best practices within your team to ensure the quality, stability, performance, resiliency, and maintainability of software.
About You
Experience: 3+ years of experience in product or enterprise software development.
Full Stack Expertise: Hands-on experience across the entire software stack:
Frontend: Angular or React
Backend / APIs: Python, Node.js, or Golang
Databases: Relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB)
Infrastructure: AWS or Azure, Terraform
Accessibility & Cloud: Proven experience building full-stack features from frontend to backend APIs and cloud infrastructure, as well as implementing accessible web features.
AI/ML Capabilities (Bonus):
Familiarity with AI or machine learning integrations.
Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain or similar) is desirable.
Awareness of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns or similar AI integration techniques.
Core Competencies: Solid technical abilities in software development, testing, monitoring, performance tuning, and deployment pipelines.
