Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer Location: Hartford, CT Hybrid Duration: 07/25/2026 - 08/25/2027 Rate: $70/hr Position Overview The Connecticut Department of Children and Families is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer / Full Stack Developer to support the agency's existing Salesforce applications and participate in the development and implementation of the next-generation CT-KIND / Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). The selected candidate will participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, documentation, and production support. The developer will work with the existing DCF team and System Integrator to support Salesforce applications, contribute to the new CT-KIND system, and facilitate knowledge transfer and ongoing application maintenance. Required Experience Salesforce - MUST HAVE Minimum 5 years of Salesforce Development experience Strong Salesforce APEX development Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in Apex Strong knowledge of Salesforce Design Patterns Salesforce Lightning Pages Visualforce Pages Salesforce configuration SOQL CRUD operations Full-stack Salesforce development Salesforce application integration Full-Stack / Software Development 10+ years of overall professional IT/software development experience Strong OOP concepts .NET / C# .NET OOP SOA / Service-Oriented Architecture JavaScript SQL End-to-end web development Web Services Windows Services Responsive Design Patterns Agile Development Methodology Design Patterns Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Salesforce applications.
