Job Title: Senior Software Developer, Pega Applications Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Remote) Duration: Fulltime Only US Citizens/ Green Card holders can Apply. Clearance: Active IRS MBI Clearance (Preferred) Role: Senior Software Developer, Pega Applications: The senior software developer will develop and maintain robust system level software, ensuring the performance and scalability of backend systems during the contract period. The developer will be fully dedicated to the project objectives. Translate detailed design into computer software. Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required product. Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Minimum Experience: Provide technical leadership as a Pega Senior System Architect (SSA), ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.Define IT strategies and manage infrastructure to meet organizational objectivesLead teams in system design, deployment, and performance optimizationEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and information security protocolsProvide guidance on best practices, coding standards, and development frameworkConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practicesEvaluate emerging technologies for potential integrationCollaborate with leadership to align IT strategies with business goalsCoordinate with Pega vendor with Service Requests and their resolutionManage Pega platform level 508 defects and their plan for their resolutionAdvocate for reusable design patterns and components that can be leveraged across applications Minimum Education /Certifications10+ years of experience in IT leadership, architecture, specializing in Java and Pega Strong knowledge of front/backend development, Java, Pega and workflowsCertified as a Senior System Architect is requiredProficiency in Java, Pega, and workflow-based solutions A Bachelor of Science (BS) in computer science (CS) field is required.Strong understanding of software development processesAbility to work within contract deadlines and deliverablesA Bachelor of Science (BS) in computer science (CS) field is required.
