Job Summary
A Software Engineer 1 is responsible for developing front-end and back-end solutions via database creation, visual design, process design, and coding – full stack development.
They develop and maintain operational software used within the lab and engineering organization.
Responsibilities / Skills
Program and implement software solutions to improve the efficiency, quality, and speed of product testing and engineering operations.Work with cross-functional user teams to develop innovative and effective UI designs.Collaborate with IT on best practices around software development, security, programming, and long-term maintenance of solutions.Prepare detailed specifications, documentation, and logic diagrams of programs.Design, code, test, troubleshoot, debug, and documents those programs.Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.Deliver software solutions focused on solving end user problems.Translate strategy into a technical vision using prototypes, simulations, and other research methodologies.Ensure systems include performance metrics, usage, and growth projections for scalability of applications.Collaborate with other company developers and staff in technical solutions and implementation.Excel in a fast-paced high-energy environment.Ability to work in Microsoft/Office 365 Suite.
Education And Experience
