Senior Software Developer, Front End
Location: Jarvis Street, Toronto, ON
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite – 5 days per week
Contract: September 3, 2026 – September 2, 2027
Extension: 1 possible extension term
Incorp Rate: $90-$94.50/hr

Role Overview
The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing front-end applications and user interfaces.
The successful candidate will translate technical specifications into reliable, tested solutions and work closely with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop front-end applications and user interfaces.Build attractive, effective, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces.Translate technical specifications into working and tested applications.Develop detailed programming specifications and write, compile, test, and debug code.Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, RESTful services, and APIs.Conduct unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and application maintenance.Support software implementation, conversion, migration, and post-implementation activities.Work with relational databases and query languages to retrieve and manage application data.Collaborate with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and other IT professionals throughout the SDLC.Participate in design reviews and walkthroughs and provide technical recommendations.Prepare and maintain technical and system documentation.Troubleshoot production and technical issues and provide post-implementation support.Use Azure DevOps for development, source control, work tracking, and/or deployment activities.General Technical Requirements
