IAM & Identity Engineer

IAM & Identity Engineer Amsterdam, Netherlands — Hybrid SaaS | Developer Technology | Identity Security | IAM Our client, a growing SaaS / Developer Technology company based in Amsterdam, is looking for an IAM & Identity Engineer to build and improve identity systems across its multi-cloud technology environment. You'll work across workforce identity, cloud access, SSO, federation, and privileged access—helping create secure, automated identity processes that scale with a rapidly growing engineering organisation. What You'll Work On • Design and improve workforce identity and access management • Manage identity across Entra ID / Azure AD and AWS environments • Implement and maintain SSO and identity federation • Build secure authentication flows using SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect • Improve privileged access and least-privilege controls • Automate identity provisioning, deprovisioning, and access lifecycle processes • Integrate SaaS and cloud applications with central identity platforms • Improve access reviews, permissions governance, and security monitoring • Work with Security, Platform, and IT teams to strengthen identity architecture Core Skills • 4+ years in IAM, Identity Engineering, Cloud Security, or similar roles • Entra ID / Azure AD • AWS IAM • SSO • SAML • OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect • Identity Federation • Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, and access-control principles Nice to Have Privileged Access Management (PAM) Okta, Auth0, Ping Identity, or similar platforms SCIM and automated provisioning Conditional Access Python or PowerShell automation Terraform / Identity as Code Zero Trust architecture Experience securing multi-cloud environments
